God’s Word Calls us to Prayer and Praise

Come unto Me, all who hunger

and thirst for righteousness,

and you shall be filled!

O God, longing to be

filled with You, we come!

In the morning when I rise,

In the morning when I rise,

In the morning when I rise,

Give me Jesus!

Give me Jesus!  Give me Jesus!

You can have all this world, give me Jesus!

Open our lips, O God

and our mouths

will proclaim Your praise!

O God, You have called us to this hour that we might learn to more perfectly love You and others!
Grant us Your grace that as we commune with You and read and reflect on Your Word, we might understand it, apply it to our lives, and become living epistles to our family and friends.

We ask this through Jesus Christ,

Your Son, our Lord,  Amen!

God’s Word Calls us to Respond in Faith

The Apostle’s Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth!

I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord, who was:

Conceived by the Holy Spirit;

born of the Virgin Mary;

suffered under Pontius Pilate;

was crucified, died, and was buried.

He descended to the dead.

On the third day, He rose again;

He ascended to heaven,

is seated at the right hand of the Father,

and will come again to judge

the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit;

the holy catholic church;

the communion of saints;

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body,

and the life everlasting.  Amen!

Daily Prayer Focus

Tues – Our Outreach Ministries

Wed – Our Youth & Children’s Ministries

Thurs – Personal & Church–wide Revival

Fri – Our Nation, State, & Community

Sat – Our Pastor & Family

Tues – O Lord, our heavenly Father, almighty and everlasting God, who has safely brought us to the end of this day: Defend us with Your mighty power; and grant that we may not fall into sin nor run into any danger; but that we, being ordered by Your providence, may do always what is righteous in Your sight; through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen!

Wed – O heavenly Father, in whom we live and move and have our being: We humbly ask You to guide and govern us by Your Holy Spirit, that in all the cares and occupations of our life we may not forget You, but may remember that we are ever walking in Your sight; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.  Amen.

Thurs – Eternal Father, who at the Baptism of Jesus revealed Him to be Your Son, anointing Him with the Holy Spirit: Grant to us, who are born again by water and the Spirit, that we may be faithful to our calling as Your children; through Jesus Christ Your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.  Amen!

Fri – Almighty God, whose most dear Son went not up to joy but first He suffered pain and entered not into glory before He was crucified: Mercifully grant that we, walking in the way of the cross, may find it none other than the way of life and peace; through Your Son Jesus Christ, our Lord.  Amen.

Sat – Almighty God, who, after the creation of the world, rested from all Your works and sanctified a day of rest for all Your creatures: Grant that we, putting away all earthly anxieties may be duly prepared for the serve of Your sanctuary, and that our rest here upon earth may be a preparation for the eternal rest promised to Your people in heaven; through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.

God’s Word Sends us Out to Serve

Lord, I come; I confess: bowing here,

I find my rest.  Without You, I fall apart.  You’re the One that guides my heart.

Lord, I need You; Oh I need You,
every hour I need You, my one defense,

my righteousness; O God, how I need You.

Where sin runs deep, Your grace is more.

Where grace is found is where You are.

And where You are, Lord, I am free.

Holiness is Christ in me.

Lord, I need You; Oh I need You,
every hour I need You, my one defense,

my righteousness; O God, how I need You.

So, teach my song to rise to You

When temptation comes my way.

And when I cannot stand, I’ll fall on You

Jesus, You’re my hope and stay.

Lord, I need You; Oh I need You,
every hour I need You, my one defense,

my righteousness; O God, how I need You.

O God, let Your servant depart in peace.  May the words I speak

and all my deeds reveal to

others that I have spent this

time with You.  Through Christ,

the Lord, we pray.  Amen!
